Neal-Schuman Professional Educational Series Archives; this program originally aired on May 4, 2009

For many years, the traditional model for story-time has been theme-based. After using this approach and exploring the pros and cons in her many years at Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Betsy has moved her practice toward a model based on how the brain learns at this stage of a child’s development. You may find yourself rethinking the focus of your programs, using time-tested materials in new ways.
