Borrowing Privileges For SEFLIN Member Libraries:

  • Any student, faculty or professional staff member of a SEFLIN member institution with a valid SEFLIN library card, may be granted library privileges in the Main Library of Nova Southeastern University.
  • These privileges will allow the borrower access to our collection including our CD Rom data bases and journals, except for holdings for particular students or classes.
  • The SEFLIN borrower will be allowed to check out a maximum of eight (8) books for a period of (30) days.
  • The SEFLIN borrower has no renewal previliges.
  • There will be a fine of (25 cents) per day per book with a maximum of $25.00 per book. If a book is lost, the cost will be cost of book plus $15.00 processing fee.     

Nova Southeastern Students, Faculty & Professional Staff:

  • Students, faculty and staff of Nova Southeastern University may obtain a SEFLIN card at the Circulation desk in the Main Library by presenting a current Nova Southeastern ID card and completing an information form.
  • The Main Library does not issue cards for the HPD or Law school students.
  • Faculty and staff cards will be issued for one academic year.
  • Student cards will need to be renewed each semester.
  • In order to be issued a SEFLIN card each person must be in good standing in the Main Library.
  • On notification of delinquency, the patron is contacted and advised that library privileges are suspended until delinquency status is cleared.
  • The home library, Main Library, at Nova Southeastern University should be accessed before going to other participating libraries.

 Hours Of Operation:  (Hours may vary)
  •       Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  •       Friday 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  •       Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  •       Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
